New Dacia car photos and Dacia pictures

Dacia is part of the Renault Group, being a Romanian cars manufacturer. The history of the company has started in 1967 in Pitesti .

As you will see in the Dacia pictures and Dacia photos as well as in the Dacia wallpapers, the car is intended for all classes of drivers, being an inexpensive car. The models of Dacia cars encompass the Dacia 1100, being a car made under the license of Renault. The model was produced between 1968 and 1972, having also the variant of Dacia 1100 S, which featured twin headlamps and a sturdier engine. This type was broadly used by the police forces and in some racing competitions.

The following Dacia model was called the 1300, which seemed a very modern car for that time for the Romanians, a niche market that bought exclusively the car. Variants of the 1300 include the Dacia 1300 L, the 1300 S – as an ambulance, the 1301 Lux Super, which was reserved for the communist party members. The Dacia 1310 was a newly designed car from Dacia Automobiles. This model brought some resemblances to the Renault old models, the Dacia being of course under the parenthood of Renault. A sports version of the 1310 was also launched. The Dacia 1300 and the 1310 were two of the most popular cars in Romania during the Communist Era, and the cars were not available in other countries.

Dacia Automobiles also dealt with producing a prototype of sports coupe, which resembled the 1310. This concept car was called Brasovia, getting its name from Brasov , a city in Romania , where they were also producing Dacia cars.
