New Elfin car photos and desktop wallpapers
The famous sports cars known under the name of Elfin are actually manufactured by Elfin Sports Cars Pty Ltd, a company whose founder was Garrie Cooper, a very capable racing driver, skilled designer and builder at the same time. The nationality of the company which has just turned 50 years old, is Australia . The brought up name became famous especially due to the numerous motor racing competitions and the many cool sports cars that the company has launched.
In its history, the company was owned by several people, including Tom Walkinshaw, the well known car racer of British origins, and Bill Hemming, also a car racing aficionado. Nick Kovatch has bought the company in 1998, and is still in the position of its technical leader.

As you will see in the Elfin pictures and the Elfin photos, the cars were made to race. And they did win a lot of competitions, just in the Australian Driver's Championship they won around 30 titles, plus loads others. You will also find some Elfin wallpapers dedicated to the success the company had throughout the years, in Australia and around the entire world. The Formula One, the Formula Third tours, some Grand Prix titles are also in there.
The older Elfin models are as many as 250 racing cars and 27 different models, including the classic Streamliner, the Formula Vees, the MR 9 Formula 5000 (back in the 80s), the Elfin Clubman Type 3 car from 1998 (manufactured in a limited edition). The recent models of Elfin cars include the MS 8 Streamliner and the MS 8 Clubman, both using Chevrolet V 8 engines.
If you are wondering who's a Elfin arcing car driver, you will see some racers in the Elfin photos, but here are some hints: James Hunt (very present in the Formula One), Didier Pironi (also a Formula One driver), Allan Grice, Vern Schuppan, Larry perkins, John Bowe, Bob Jane, Frank Matich or Peter Manton. Check out a couple of Elfin pictures with true Elfin champion drivers.
