HSV photos and new HSV wallpapers
HSV, the initials that stand for Holden Special Vehicles are a division of the Holden brand name, very famous in Australia .
The headquarters of HSV are in the same place as for the Holden company, namely in Clayton , Victoria that is in Australia of course. The mission of HSV is to work after the Holden vehicles, improving them and adding more features to them. The history of the HSV has started not so long ago, when Holden joined TWR, resulting in the present company. All this happened in 1987, being a replacement of the HDT- the Holden Dealer Team. In the meantime, TWR left the partnership, but presently HSV has teamed up with Walkinshaw.
As you will be able to see in the HSV photos and HSV pictures as well as the HSV wallpapers, the company is dealing with Holden models such as the Commodore, the Caprice or the Ute, but the list includes more models actually. The company will tune these cars up with additional alloy wheels, extra spec interiors, upgrading the engine, the brakes, the suspension and the transmissions of the vehicles.
The first steps in the name of HSV were made with the SS Group A SV vehicle, which was a VL Commodore modified in its body kit, rear wing look and a more powerful engine. This model is also known under the name of Bat Mobile for some of the HSV fans. Another model of HSV is the SS Group A built after the VL and VN Commodore models. The VL Commodore F20 SV was clearly a big success, and this model was launched in 1988. It featured a polarizing body kit, being a fuel injected vehicle. The SV 88 is a model based on the Holden Calais and was also a big selling item. The VL Commodore F20 SV was also a sturdy piece, followed immediately by the F20 SV Turbo option, which had even more features, specially created by the HSV company.
